The Hero Shop - Der Heldenladen
				Martina has been working with fifteen community members aged twelve to seventy creating a performance installation in a disused shop in the town centre of Greiz in former East Germany. The group took over the building for six weeks and transformed it into a public platform people could visit to become heroes for a day. Commissioned for a specific task on the day the audience was encouraged to engage with the town centre public and other artists to fulfil their mission. Tasks ranged from finding and bringing together as many people possible wearing red on the day to honouring an ill person by paying them a visit in hospital. link to Greizer Theaterherbst event images
