Boudoir Rouge No 1- A Cooking Event
				The Collective of Artists and Cooks has embarked on their first journey together at Vauxhall based Bonnington Cafè creating an evening of Food and Art. July 7th 2008 6.30 - 10.30 pm Bonnington Cafè 11 Vauxhall Grove London SW8 1TD Diary entry: This is just to report back I survived my first night in the kitchen, got away with a parking ticket (forgot to fill in the registration number), a minor burn and a uncanny two-day feeling of fatigue. Overall I have been told the evening was a (big) success, while I was fighting with the pie dough the visitors got entertained by Tsivi and a crew of wonderful singers who performed a whole cabaret show as I saw the next day on photographs. Two (of the 18) lessons I have learned : 1.Don`t overbook yourself on the first night, even if you want to be nice and not turn anyone away, because you might run out of food ... 2.Don`t use too much cornflour in red berry compote as will result in an irreversible clumpy mess.
